Combined Non Surgical Facial Toning & Microdermabrasion System

Orbital MicroDermabrasion
This new exfoliation technology uses a hand piece with an abrasive tip that rotates at different speeds on an elliptical axis. A selection of single use, disposable abrasive treatment tips coated with a layer of silicon carbide are used to either superficially or deeply exfoliate the epidermis. This unique crystal free and vacuum free method of microdermabrasion overcomes the blockage, maintenance and downtime issues commonly associated with traditional microdermabrasion systems.
The hand piece also features the healing action of LED light therapy, which can be used simultaneously with orbital microdermabrasion or with a special massage head to stimulate the connective tissue, which improves circulation and lymph drainage.

Innovative Crystal Free Microdermabrasion Combined With Simultaneous LED Light Therapy
The orbital rotation of the abrasive head performs a progressive and controlled skin exfoliation, removing imperfections and impurities. By removing the superficial layers of skin, the complexion is left clearer, smoother and more youthful looking. Results are visible after just one treatment .
Wrinkle Comb (LED Light Therapy)
The system’s wrinkle comb combines LED photo stimulation with high frequency microcurrent. The synergy of these two technologies plumps out and softens lines, wrinkles and stretch marks, thereby providing a non invasive, needle free alternative to collagen injections and other dermal fillers.
The system has the option to select Red or Blue LED photo stimulation or an alternating pulsed LED mode that is particularly effective at treating acne and skin blemishes.
Microcurrent
Originally developed for treating facial palsy, microcurrent therapy is now widely used as an aesthetic anti-ageing treatment. True microcurrent uses a current with an intensity of less than one millionth of an amp (‹1mA). A higher intensity current will cause contractions of the facial muscles which can worsen lines and wrinkles, whereas microcurrent stimulation does not contract muscles, but instead works by a process called muscle re-education to achieve results.
Due to it’s dramatic lifting and toning effect, the CACI microcurrent treatment has become known as the “Non Surgical Face Lift”.
Wrinkle Comb
Specific wavelengths of light combined with high frequency stimulation activate the body’s sodium potassium pump. This encourages cell exchange, the release of sodium ions, collagen proteins and hyaluronic glycosaminoglycans which together act to plump out deep lines and wrinkles and trigger tissue repair and healing.
Hydratone
Hydratone combines active microcurrent rollers with Hydro Mask, a unique, electrically conductive silicon gel mask that has been infused with powerful hydrating properties. The rollers gently massage the face causing the mask to become electrically charged so that the whole face is bathed with rejuvenating energy. The current delivered by the rollers recharges and replenishes the bio-electrical energy within the facial muscles, restoring tone and firmness.
The energy generated also drives the hydrating actives contained within the gel mask deep into the skin tissue. The gel mask has a dramatic softening action helping to smooth lines and wrinkles. - Epilepsy – Completely contra-indicated – micro-current may cause a seizure.
- Heart Conditions – Please provide us with a GP note stating it is safe to proceed with CACI with microcurrent
- Diabetes – Diet Controlled = fine to proceed providing tactile test completed by therapist – If Insulin Dependent please provide us with a GP note.
- Inflammation/Infections in local area – Completely contra-indicated
- Tumours – Please provide us with a GP note stating it is safe to proceed with CACI microcurrent
- Varicose Veins – This area must be avoided by your therapist
- Recent Operation/Scar Tissue – Please wait 3-6 months depending on severity of operation before commencing CACI
- Allergy to Rubber/Metal/Silicone – Double probes are stainless steel. Body and facial pads are rubber based coated in silicone therefore treatment cannot be commenced
- Thrombosis/Phlebitis – Completely contra-indicated – micro-current could disturb/cause blood clotting.
- Retin A – If prescribed by GP wait 3-6 months after completion of Retin A course depending on the medication dosage.
- Roaccutane – Wait 12-18 months after completion of roaccutane course depending on medication dosage.
- Metal Pins/Plates – Therapist must avoid working in this area
- Prosthesis/Silicone Implants – therapist must avoid working in this area
- High Blood Pressure – Treatment can be commenced however results are variable due to muscle relaxants in the medication. You will need to sign a disclaimer.
- Skin Diseases – Locally contra-indicated due to risk of cross-contamination
- Multiple Sclerosis – Facial & body muscles will not respond
- Severe Muscular Conditions – Please provide us with a GP note stating it is safe to proceed with CACI microcurrent. i.e. muscular dystrophy
- Botox – Local area contra-indicated as the nerve response from muscle to the brain has been paralysed. Botox may also be dispersed if current is applied over it. Can work directly over area 3 months after Botox injection.
- Collagen/Fillers – Please wait 2 weeks before commencing CACI
- Anti-Depressants – Results are variable due to muscle relaxants in the medication, a disclaimer is required. Prozac medication does not contain a muscle relaxant so face & body treatments can be performed.
- Under & Over Active Thyroid – Please provide us with a GP note stating it is safe to proceed with CACI
- For any other medication or medical condition not listed above, please bring a GP note stating it is safe to proceed with CACI microcurrent/microdermabrasion.
